Step 1: Sign Out of Your Current iCloud Account

- **Navigate to your device settings** and sign out from your existing Apple ID.
- **Create a new account.** This can be done directly on your iOS device or through Apple's website here.
- **Choose an unrestricted country or region** during the sign-up process. You are not required to provide a payment method for this step.
- **Use any public address in the selected country** for the billing address, such as a public library

Important Notes:
- Verify Your Account: Ensure you verify the new account using an email that isn't linked to another Apple ID.
- No Payment Method Needed: Select 'None' for the payment method while filling out the rest of the billing information.

Step 2: Create a New Apple ID

- **Log in with your new Apple ID** on your iOS device.
- **Search for "Lantern" in the App Store**, download, and install it.
- Once installed, open Lantern and start using the service immediately, no sign-in required.
